DigitDefence Opens New California Office to Serve North American Clients

DigitDefence, the cybersecurity arm of Veda Group, has opened a new office in California, marking its first dedicated physical presence in North America. The new location will serve as a regional hub for client delivery, incident response, and security advisory services across the United States and Canada.

The California office will house a growing team of security engineers, threat analysts, and client advisory staff, and is expected to serve as the anchor for DigitDefence's expansion across the wider North American market. The company said the move responds directly to rising demand from enterprise clients seeking faster response times, closer collaboration on compliance requirements, and in-region support for security operations.

"North American enterprises are dealing with an increasingly complex threat landscape, from ransomware to supply chain attacks, alongside a fast-changing regulatory environment," said a DigitDefence executive. "Having a physical presence here means we can be closer to our clients — for incident response, for compliance work, and for the ongoing security partnerships that this market expects."

The new office will offer a full suite of DigitDefence services, including managed detection and response, vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, security awareness training, and regulatory compliance support spanning frameworks such as SOC 2, HIPAA, and state-level data privacy laws. DigitDefence said it plans to grow the California team significantly over the next year, with active hiring underway across security operations, engineering, and client success roles.

The expansion is part of Veda Group's broader strategy to grow its cybersecurity practice as a global business line, following DigitDefence's established presence in other markets. Group leadership described North America as a priority growth region given the scale of enterprise demand for outsourced and co-managed security services.
